and here we are in heaven.....

Water flying off the top of my umbrella as I swing it all around - like dancing in the rain. Feet soaked to the skin, wet silk dress clinging to my legs, face all shinny from looking up in the downpour - arms extended out from my shoulders - eyes closed with a smile a mile wide. I look over and see my baby grinning at me from a storefront door way - shakin his head. Laughing I go running to him - press my dripping body into his....my umbrella forgotten in the middle of the road.

My mama told me I better shop around. Don't be sold on the very first one. A pretty guy comes a dime a dozen but I think I found one that is gonna give me lgood lovin.

My baby keeps me safe...my baby keeps me warm....my baby makes me know he cares.....and keeps me satisfied.....mmmmmmmmbabymmmmmmmmmm

Sitting at the kitchen table...hot coffee and a hot buttered scone. Steam fogging her glasses. Exassperated she slides them off, folds them, and places on the table. Irma on the turn-table - she looks at the empty chair next to her and places a hand on the seat, fingering the grain of the wood.

watching the weather report...gathering vanilla scented candles...hot chocolate. Found a map to the back country for the chapter of our exploration. Mmmmmbabymmmmmm. Hold my hand tight...we are going together....together....together....

The smell of fresh paint, the cold and smooth surface of bedroom guardrail, soft texture of new bedspread. Gonna light some candles...draw a warm bath...open some wine.

Feeling good....my baby's hand in mine. Looking at the sunrise on our new day.
