insufferable know-it-all

About

Description
What can I say about myself? You and I are very much the same. You may not know it now, wrapped in your silly conceptions of right and wrong, but I know deep beneath that deceptively righteous disguise lays a creature much like myself. We are trapped between the good and the evil, forgotten between the light and the dark, attempting to live between the truth and the lies…we trade one prison for the next, slam the bars shut and fling the keys as far away as we can…only to do it all over again...

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

All that we see or seem, Is but a dream within a dream. -Edgar Allan Poe

Let the world know you as you are, not as you think you should be. -Fannie Brice

"The need to surrender is one of the great paradoxes of love. Surrender may seem like giving up. Or giving in. But in reality we are strengthened when we actively choose to make ourselves vulnerable. We are empowered by sharing our deepest self with another person, offering him or her our heart, our soul, our life. Surrender is an act of free will. A sacred trust."
-Ellen Sue Stern

"And there in his arms, after years of searching, she had become someone else... someone more like herself. "

Soul Journey 12/23/95

Life is short of tomorrow, for some much too long
The chosen, bewildered are here for a brief time

In the beginning, we run fast and hard furiously
Devouring, trying to absorb everything life offers

Man, woman or a child their thoughts, dreams
Drift through minds, souls only in different stages

People must reach out, grasp onto their dreams, ideas
Drinking them up, relentlessly down ones path

Long is the road, unending with shadowy curves,
Ones choice unmade now, can stray into darkness calling

Journeys different, the same hearts follow paths to joy,
Blackness looms, foreboding passions the key to salvation

Staying true to thoughts enchanting to us now,
Beckons tomorrows fulfilled embraced unending, forever

Sunrises Kiss 6/18/08

Penetrating the early morning darkness with amber rays unyielding
Night is encouraged to give way to the beckoning sounds of a new days promise unfolding

Faint whispers echo through the stale morning air stirring lovers from dreams warm embrace
Sunrises kiss is shared between them moments become frozen as thoughts and passions reign as one

Fragrances of the maiden dance upon the wind mesmerizing those with a melody pleasant to hear
Summoning courage from within corridors of both mind and soul, joining his hand to her lips.

Dawn’s early reply to the question posed by night’s late arrival is answered by both thought and deed.
Together swimming upon the waves of loves sweet release, following the incoming tides of life’s final reward.

Lady Winter……………. 5/8/08

Dressed in moonlight a maiden enchanting calls to thy man, knowing
Whispering her melody harmonious breezes of loves arrival transcend, captivate

Winter dreams befall those imaginations dark with passions infinite touch, warm
Remembrances in time lady winter breathed life into his soul once tormented, cold

Shadows of doubt permeate minds uncertain revealing past deeds, intentional
Regaining a confidence of mind yet spirit gentleman known reaches decision fateful, now

Calming is the mist cool drawing lovers naked ambitions into daylight, blinded
Shades of purple cascade within her tresses flowing beauty unrehearsed in her eyes, beckoning

Death's Hand............... 4/28/08

Raining fire down upon the land merciless was he who designed death,
Stretching both near and far swords crossed and arrows hit their intended marks

Fear spread among the masses as evil played its calling card pain was the ace of spades,
Hooded executioners enjoyed their unholy deeds smiling beneath this the theater of darkness

Peace being replaced by guillotines sleight of hand arrogance was the guilty plea for change,
Suffering beneath the chains gold and silver, noble aristocracy vanished upon the bloody stages.....

Bodies strewn about unholy ground the smell of blood and decay whispered death be thy name,
Smoke filled eyes stared in disbelief upon the horror wondering can fragile salvation really exist?

Maidens Edge 6/2/98

Maiden stands along the edge, dreams ignite
Mist forming her thoughts of love, passions highway.

Flowing images of time, now she is beauty’s innocence.
Remembering tomorrow today, freezing life’s restraints.

Dress shining brilliantly albeit breathtaking, white
Maiden awaits love’s touch previously forbidden

Approaching earnestly the rider begins his descent upon the suns arrival, bringing light
Winds caressing fields never harvested, brimming with passions bountiful return

Lace engulfing her as she impatiently waits, summons
Man and steed to arrive dismounting vigorously.

Undressing her with thoughts of enchantment, desire
Together they encounter love’s eternal oneness, forever

Hi there, I really love your pictures they are so dark, erotic and sexy....I am a poet and find this inspriing...

Shadows on the Edge
Rising from the mist, solitude befalls the air
Raven of black, imploring the day to give way

Night like a solemn friend, unbending
Arrives giving solace to those yielding

Images of love abound, into forever
Remembering tomorrow from above.

Strangers so many, lovers so few,
Darkness rages in the hearts withdrawn

Walking the fine line of destiny,
Now fulfills the soul tormented, forever

The shadows, they beckon us to follow
Into their bosom, trusting, obeying

Falling perilously, the abyss is awaiting
Love or death, one is enchanting

Dismissing Ghosts
Dismissing ghosts from days past of long ago,
Summoning courage rare within allows us to forgo

Illusion or reality comes at us in cold waves surging,
Engaging ourselves with blankets of hopes final urging

Apparitions that have been lurking through times closet,
Regaining a confidence thought lost or stolen was it?

Unveiling the masks of fear which used to taunt us,
Replaces bridges once flooded by emotions wet brush

Realizing the dawns penetrating light discourages the dark,
Dreams frozen trance melts away from its desired mark

Beginning again the path narrows into choices quietly shared,
Times she does not wait for those undecided who might have cared
