The dew
is sprinkled throughout the mid winter night,
topping the grass with a mild
wetness that brings daybreak to life.


And as darkness vanishes from the midnight hours,
the sun starts to peep up from the horizon,
bursting out
rays of light that
signify dawn.

The rays
plummet onto the freshly laid dew,
making it sparkle, glitter,
and beam out the vibrant colors of its wearer.

The dew is soft to the touch,
and fragile yet filled with pure moisture.
A brisk breeze wafts through each strand of dewed grass,
cooling it down to a ice coldness.

It softens any harsh spike of grass to a soft hair, able to cleanse nature and calm
its occasional furies.
It contributes to nature’s awesome powers, enhancing its outer and inner image.
For dew is the essence of nature's freshness and purity,
