I love this song, I can't stop listening to it. It also send off a powerful message... He talks about being kind to strangers meaning nobody knows who there guardian angel is. It could be anybody. He is saying "waiting on an angel" as sort of a plea for some help. He doesnt want to keep living life by himself.
