I recently read a piece from Mark Twain and found it interesting. I thought I'd like to share something with everybody that doesn't know this yet.
This piece was called, 'Corn Pone Opinions' for those of you who would also like to read it.

First of all, I would just like to say, that:
-None of you people act like "yourselves."
-All of you can NEVER come up with your own original thought.
-All of you can NEVER dress as "yourselves."
-All of you can NEVER can never come up with your own opinions.

Why do you people make the choices you make? It's simple really. You all make the choices you make through self interest. Everybody makes a choice that would make them happier. There's NEVER one person that wouldn't make a choice through self interest. There's no way any of you can disprove this. It's human nature.

Why do you people talk the way you do? It's diction. Also, because of conformity. The way you talk is the way you talk, because your environment talks that way. It's conformity, done through self interest. Think about it, and you'll understand, there's not much else that I have to say.

Why do you people dress the way you do? Self interest. Nobody goes out to wear something they don't like. If your mom makes you wear it, you make the choice to wear it because it will make you happy, because it will make her happy. You get my point. That's all there is to it.

Why do you people curse? Because other people around you do it. It becomes your diction. Also because you conform. Why don't I curse? Because that's how I was raised. We all become what we are because of our environment.

Now, about these latest "fashions." Why do so many people like a certain thing? Conformity. If one person wears something, another person follows it, another person follows that person, so on and so on. Once again, the reason for this is conformity. Like I already said earlier, just think about this one, and you'll get it.

For some of you that think you come up with your own "original" thoughts, they're not really yours. You actually think of them because you get it from somewhere, someone, or something else in your environment. You are all created from what your society is. You can't really change that fact.

For those of you who don't know what conformity is, it's something you do everyday. Yes, it also includes brushing your teeth, eating, working and/or going to school and such (haha). Why do you do these things? Because you conform. Conforming is...how to say this.....it's many things. But mainly, its making choices through self interest. You create yourself everyday into something that people like, so that you can be accepted. It's human nature to conform. Everybody wants to be praised, and nobody wants to be hurt. If they wanted to get hurt, it's because of a reason later on that will make them happy. For example, I have no life anymore because I go to school, take advanced classes, go home to study and do homework. That's a load of boring and horrible things right there. But why am I doing that? It's because I can get accepted into a good college to be able to get a good career later on in life that doesn't involve me working so hard anymore and still make a good living.
I conform everyday. When I go shopping, I buy the clothes I buy, because I like it, because other people like it. Why did I sit here and type this? Because it would make me happy if someone read this and realized some of the things in life that you have to realize and can't change (also because my hair is drying, it's 11:52 p.m. and I don't feel like finishing my math project).

If any of you disagree with this, I dare you to try and disprove me on this. It's all true. Some of you may not be happy with this, but it's there. Before any of you try to disprove me of something, I would like you all to think of all the reasons and scenarios first, before you try to prove me wrong on anything.

I may add something new to this when I feel like it...so this may not be finished yet, but I'm tired and need to get some sleep.

Thank you to all of those that took their time in reading all of this from beginning to end, and have really thought about all my reasoning.

After reading some feedback/comments, not very many people are getting the idea and the point of this.
One person said that all the the things that they do is because of survival. That person has a point there. However, people survive because of self interest. Self interest is a part of conforming. We survive because we conform, and we conform because we want to survive. You wouldn't know how to survive if you didn't conform. I hope this makes any sense to some of you, if it doesn't, feel free to ask me to clarify some things.

Next, some people have been saying that they see my point of how other people's origins of how they talk, dress, etc.
But, they don't see that view through their own lives.
Some comments I got said that people act like "them selves."
NOBODY acts like themselves. If you read my whole blog, you would see that nobody has their own original thoughts. All the thoughts/ideas you have, had to have come from the environment around you. For example, people say that they dress as "them selves." Nobody dresses as them selves. The ideas of how they dress had to have come from the environment around them.
People say that they aren't like anybody at their school. That's not my point. I was trying to make a broader, more universal view. If you don't talk like the people at your school, the way that you talk has to have come from something else. If you don't dress like the people at your school, the way of how you want to dress has to have come from someone else.
Visual/oshare kei for example; Not everybody in the world knows what that is yet, and some people dress in that fashion at their school and say that, thats how they dress. It's not. They get the idea from a genre of Japanese music.
If this still doesn't make any sense, feel free to ask questions, once again.

*Before you say or think about anything else, I would like you to first think about your life, and the origins of your own being. Before making any judgments about other people, I would want you to think about what it would be like to be in their shoes.
Before trying to disprove me of something, think about all the possibilities before I will beat you in the argument. I'll acknowledge you if you disagree with one of my points, think hard enough about the situations, and beat me in any argument.

To all those Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus haters (I'm one too, but at least I know how to be mature about it).

WOW. You people are such immature sheep (sheep as in don't know what to do and follow the "leader").
Although I'm not saying that I don't like her, it's just that you people have no idea what you people are talking about. Is it because you people are jealous of her? I'm always hearing/reading crap like, "She's retarded! I hate her! she's ugly! her songs suck!" etc.
Oh boo hoo. GET OVER IT. If you think that she's ugly, does that make you any prettier? I guess not. Nobody forces you to listen to her songs. Stop complaining about her songs, it's your fault you even listened to them in the first place. If you never listened to them before, why would you even know what her songs are like? People have their likes and dislikes. People have their different tastes. If you don't like Miley, then just don't like her at all. It doesn't mean you can go around and talk crap about people you don't like. She's an inspiration to little kids; Kids aren't like coloring books. You can't complete them with the colors that please you. Go get a life if you're gonna keep making up lies and crap about people you don't like.

Once again, don't get mad or upset at me for expressing my opinions. If you didn't like this, it's your fault you wanted to read this in the first place. I'm not gonna get anymore crap and expect to give you 5 minutes of your life back.

If you people think you can be so "cool" going around hurting others and talking crap about them, get a life. Sniff cocaine, smoke pot, I don't care how you throw your life away (although I'm not saying you should >_> that stuff's bad, I suggest you don't do it at all). Yes, I know that a celebrity is just a weirdo among people, but you don't have to go around and say mean things.
I realize how much people will also probably hate me for this, and perhaps talk crap behind my back too. Hey, in fact, let's start a group called, "We hate FutoMaki.!!" maybe you guys can talk about me there! NOT. I really don't appreciate haters.
I too, am not a fan of Hannah Montana and do not support her, so don't start hating me thinking that I'm one of her fans >_> I'm just stating some advice and ranting about what you haters annoy me with the most. If you people are only going to hate people that are different from you, well guess what, everybody's different. You're going to have a hard time in the real world if you continue with this childish, immature behavior (yeah, I act that way sometimes too).
I also realize that it's human nature to conform, but before you take an action, I surely hope that you too, will realize and think about what you are doing. There's no perfect way of doing things, but you should still try to do what is "right." If you conform to something for a wrong reason, then that probably isn't a good idea.

P.S. Try to avoid cursing as much as you can. As my chemistry teacher tells me (yes this has been a proven fact too), you only lose all credibility when you curse in an argument.

Although, I'm not saying that Miyavi should be someone to be hated or anything. He actually does good for the community and donates to charities
And tries so hard to create music for everybody to listen to, and to break the language barriers that separate people. Kudos to you Miyavi!
But... With the way that he's been making music, doesn't start him off with a very good reputation
so uh... I guess that's it
