Thanks to everyone for coming out to the PLUG San Francisco show at 12 Galaxies!

LoveLikeFire
LoveLikeFire recently finished their first self released EP entitled Bed of Gold. The EP was produced by the band and engineered by Willie Samuels at NuTone Studios. LoveLikeFire also recently finished recording two demo tracks with producer Jeff Saltzman (the Killers, the Sounds, Black Keys) and Reto Peter (Modest Mouse). The band is currently playing select shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Sholi
Sholi is a San Francisco Bay Area alternative/experimental band consisting of guitarist/singer Payam Bavafa, drummer Jonathon Bafus, bassist Eric Ruud, and multi-instrumentalist Greg Hagel, who contributes layers of rhodes piano, lo-fi organ, and various percussion. They will be touring the West Coast in March with The Dead Science and Parenthetical Girls.

Finest Dearest
Surviving their junior high and high school years with the likes of grunge, early indie rock, punk, hardcore, and riot grrl, the members of Finest Dearest have a common vision of bringing passion and honesty back to today's music. A flurry of influences such as Pavement, Blonde Redhead, Sonic Youth and Cursive have planted the seeds for the fuzzed out, bittersweet, and highly melodic sound that Finest Dearest has worked hard to cultivate.

Luxxury
Luxxury began in 2002 when Baron von Luxxury, inspired by LCD Soundsystem's call to arms "Losing my Edge", sold his guitar and bought a synthesizer. He then rerecorded his home-demo songs as 80's styled electro-pop, with disco beats and shimmering Giorgio Moroder-y synth replacing the guitar parts. While tongue-in-cheek at first, the resulting sonic makeover was undeniably infectious, and a new (old) future-retro sound was born.
