Multitasking isn't a burden on Noise. Its a release.
"Sometimes I can't function unless I'm doing ten things at once. Everything seems to slow down and become crystal clear," he explains.
Its evident in his music. Whether programming solo projects or playing bass with others, his erratic thought process blended with his calculated delivery gives the song sanctuary in chaos.
He got his start recording and playing in various New York City bands, and graduated from SUNY Purchase (N.Y.) College, where he earned a degree in music production.
He is currently Soundman and Co-Producer of politically-charged hip-hop group Hungry Mob, a member of Portland musical collective Digital Organics, as well as creating what he refers to as "good music gone awry" as producer, programmer and bassist in solo and collaborative projects.
As if that wasn't enough, he also does live sound, sessions in his project studio and teaches bass lessons.
Noise was formerly head of sound for Napoleon's Itch bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and was resident sound engineer for the weekly Mary Griffin Concert at Snooks Bar, also on Bourbon. He was scheduled to do sound on the main stage at the Bourbon Street Extravaganza during Southern Decadence, the city's third largest festival - rivaled only by Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras. . . Stupid hurricanes.
