The Band begins when C. Portela (guitar/vocal) and H. Portela (bass) along with two guitar players get some gigs to play some covers. Back in those days as a cover band they rehearsed for a couple of months in the same place where A. Calderon (drums) used to rehearse with his first band.
The days of the cover band soon came to an end when C. Portela and H. Portela decided to write their own material this change in the band causes that one of the first guitar players to take off and keyboard player joins to the band. This line up begins to play their own songs in many places using for the first time the name of PROZAK.
The remaining original guitar player leaves the band and is replaced by another one in rhythm guitar and C. Portela takes the lead guitar. At this time the band had 15 original songs but they had to cancel their schedule due to personal troubles of the keyboard player that eventually made him had to leave the band.
Is in this period when the band changes to the definitive line up as A. Calderon takes the drums, H. Portela leaves the drum box and takes the bass, C. Portela stills with the lead guitar and voice and they stay as a three member band for a while reinventing the old songs and writing new stuff and they even recorded a low quality five songs demo which gets good critics from the people who heard it. With this line up PROZAK gets their final and distinctive sound and begins to play their our songs in several gigs and In February 2008 along with their presentations they re-record the old songs along with a bunch of new songs once again fully recorded, mixed and produce by themselves, 6 of the 21 songs that they recorded are the ones you can hear in this site.

Today the band keeps on working on new songs, gigs and searching for a record label.
