Hayley was saying something in a video interview that I saw on youtube... it's from "Punk Video Guys" ..

"Emergency has a lot to do with about the way people nowadays treat love. It's so... It's not important, it doesn't seem to me, as it used to be. Alot of it has to do with divorce. Most of us [Paramore]--well, not most of us, only 2 of us-- are part of broken families. It just sucks and you always feel the effects of it. So, I guess when we were writing this song, that was something that was kind of... it must have been bugging me or something that day. I just kind of started writing poetry about it and it came out as Emergency."
