Robert Dunn has throughly absorbed and harnessed all of the intricacies of the music of Saxophone legends Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Eric Dolphy and adapted these to the guitar such as to unleash from his own passions a speed, fury, and brilliance that is unparalleled in modern jazz guitar playing. This he does without the use of sustain, distortion, feedback or excessive volume. The result is a jazz that is both moving and passionate. He features all of this in his many performances in Los Angeles and New York City as are included in his catalog here.
