Romeo C. Mascariñas, a.k.a., Romeo Romeo is a singer, songwriter and music producer from Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. He has played with so many different bands of different genre since the early 80s. For quite sometime he performed on different gigs from Bohol to Cebu, from Manila and Japan 'til he decided to settle down and just focus on family. Still performing today - most recently with younger generation of hip hop bands - Romeo made a successful shift from being a pop & rock guitarist to an all-around keyboard player, a move that helped him caught up with today's younger players and performers. For almost 10 years now he's also tried the field of songwriting and arranging, and producing records to help other budding songwriters and musicians produce their own radio-friendly records in this highly competitive field of the music industry.
This 2009 promises a new and exciting time for Romeo as he ventures into songwriting collaboration with New Orleans-based Boholano priest-songwriter, J. Roel Lungay. As both of them would wryly say, "We're going country this time and God help us!"
