Infinity - Merrick

one of my lj friends included this song in her playlist, and she said it always made her relax whenever she listened to it. she's got great taste in music, so i figured i'd listen to the song.

the intro was heavenly. it made me close my eyes and settle back on my chair. the lyrics were awesome, too. it reminded me of the bittersweet taste of umbrella's "the city lights".

while doing the id3 tags on the mp3, i learned that "infinity" is in the grey's anatomy soundtrack. no wonder. i always loved the music in that show.

i was reading something online around 2006, and at the end of that post were the lyrics to the chorus of the song. the words struck me, so i searched for the title on google. i didn't even need to hear the song on imeem or youtube--i immediately downloaded it from limewire. the second i played it, i knew i'd love it for the rest of my life.

some people keep changing their answers whenever they are asked for their favorite song. mine never will.
