Music can be a source of inspiration to people for all different reasons. For me it's an entity in its own right. It can reach out and touch you at any time, any place and any where.
The kind of music that I upload to imeem will be of the variety that I consider to be worthy of exposure. Fast, Slow, Reggae to Jazz, Rare to Independent. All will mean something to those who have an open mind to MUSIC, whatever the genre.
Why limit your taste to a specific type of sound. To say that you only have time for one kind of music will normally indicate that you have been led to that way of thinking. Never allow yourself to be indoctrinated without the desire to delve into something new or even unknown.
I like to think that the music I upload to imeem will touch people that have a real understanding and appreciation of all forms of Black Music. A high percentage will be fresh to most. But it doesn't mean that 'it aint good'.
So breeze by every now and then when you feel in the mood for hearing alternatives to the mainstream music.
