So we just had a day off in Tempe, AZ and it was awesome! We got the chance to meet with John Shope the owner of sinister Choppers. He is one of the best bike builders in the country and he is building a Seether themed chopper! For those of you who don't know I'm an absolute bike nut and I'm so excited about this. He also took us for a rip in his dune buggy. It has a 650 horse power engine and is insanely fast.
Johnny, Troy and I were giggling like little girls when we got out of that thing. Otherwise the tour has been great, with a lot of shows have been sold out. We are also anticipating "Rise Above This" to hit #1 at active radio soon so things are pretty good right now.
Anyway, I gotta run.
Cheers for now
Dale

Hey Everybody!
Johnny here again. We are about 6 shows-deep into our "new" tour with Flyleaf. The shows have been amazing (sold-out or nearly sold-out) and the crowds, electric!! Having said that now, sometimes "life as a rockstar" isn't as glorious as some might think...Night before last, we played a show in Seattle, WA. We had a long drive, later that night....800 miles to be exact, for a day-off in lovely...San Francisco, CA. You can do a little math, with MPH times, as many miles....divided by the square root of my dogs feet...or something....and you come up with about a good 13 or 14 hour drive. Also, keep in mind, band and crew travel on (1) bus...that's 12 people total... and a driver....makes 13. We were almost at the end of our very long journey, when our bus decided to "crap-out" on us, about 17 miles outside of San Fran. Can you believe it? These things are designed to to go for millions of uninterrupted miles....and this happens. Well, I don't have to tell you how frustrated everyone was or...explain to you how a bus can smell, with 13 people...but, I CAN!! Take 12 pairs of sweaty shoes, times a nights worth of morning breath and divide it by....no air conditioning....and what do you come up with? (I know you didn't think, there was going to be so much math involved) = Funky!!! So, finally after about an hour or so....2 hotel-shuttle vans arrived to take us into town, and finally to our hotel rooms. So, as I am writing this, its about 11 pm of my so-called "day-off". Oh well...Tomorrow is a show day, and playing my drums is my idea of a good time anyway!...Also, it's stories like these that you really remember, for years to come!! Believe me...you can't forget that smell!
All the best - Johnny
