Tour Diary

So we just had a day off in Tempe, AZ and it was awesome! We got the chance to meet with John Shope the owner of sinister Choppers. He is one of the best bike builders in the country and he is building a Seether themed chopper! For those of you who don't know I'm an absolute bike nut and I'm so excited about this. He also took us for a rip in his dune buggy. It has a 650 horse power engine and is insanely fast.

Johnny, Troy and I were giggling like little girls when we got out of that thing. Otherwise the tour has been great, with a lot of shows have been sold out. We are also anticipating "Rise Above This" to hit #1 at active radio soon so things are pretty good right now.

Anyway, I gotta run.
Cheers for now
Dale

Me again. I went to the Edgefest show and you were amazing, as usual. If that was John's son, he's so adorable. I was up front, as always, though I am sure I am just one face in blur of ten thousand so I am far from crushed that you don't recall the chick with red and black hair. My point (indeed, I had one) of writing again was that I left right after Blue October (since there was no way I was standing among a crowd of screaming emos for My Chemical Romance) and was headed home (2 1/2 hours) down Interstate 35 and and there was a tour bus broken down on the shoulder. I have absolutely no idea what your tour bus looks like, so I CONSIDERED stopping out of curiosity since I know it has broken down before. The problem with that plan is that 1) I would look like a complete idiot knocking on the door to offer assistant that I didn't really have and 2) I'd only get to talk to the bus driver anyway, so there would be no point. It would be a fangirly fantasy come true to actually MEET you all in such a way, but I am a realist at heart and am quite sure that you lot were in back somewhere and there you would remain while I made a fool out of myself to the driver. BUT, i truly home it was NOT your bus because that would mean the label gave you the worst bus in the fleet (joke). Okay, pointless anecdote done. Have a great rest of your tour! Much love.

PS It was really beautiful to dedicate 'Broken' to Eugene. I forgot to mention that earlier, my apologies.

Got to see you guys the same day you posted this in Las Cruses NM, omg what a show!! I loved seeing Shaun on stage smiling and having fun with Dale, looked like you were having a blast up there.

I actually have a gift for you guys, I'll have to bring it next time you are near El Paso TX again, can't wait to see your reactions to it :P hope you like it, some thing Shaun and Dale said during an interview inspired me to get it for you hahah

Hope to see you guys again soon, have a safe tour and keep us up to date on all of the fun you are having.

BTW, how did the paintballing go? Did the cream help at all? maybe you guys should try lazer tag next, less painfull, and here's a tip for you "wear lose cloths while paintballing, the balls don't hurt as badly when they hit you" ;)

I have long been a fan and I am so glad that Seether is at last getting the recognition it has deserved for so long. I was at the Belton, TX show last November and it was absolutely amazing, especially since I was right up front. The cover of Filter's "Hey Man, Nice Shot," was spectacular. I cannot believe how back to back all of your shows are. I am going to the Frisco show on Sunday and then your next show is in Florida... wow. That is such a long drive. Being a nomad, myself, all I can think of is that I want to give you guys a homecooked meal and a lazy day of movie watching and do your laundry for you. Yes, clean clothes are hard to come by when on the road, at least in my experience. Sadly, though it looks to be around 70 degrees when I get to see your show on Sunday, it also calls for thunderstorms. At least we won't get hot, right? Wishing you all a fabulous tour and wishing (like the rabid fan I am) that I might get a wave from you during the show so I can giggle like a little girl, too. ;) Goeiemiddag, goeienaand, goeienag.
