In 2002 , Seven Stories Up front man Andy Rocker received his calling. Making a name for himself as an accomplished Worship Leader, Rocker honed his views into a whole new kind of love encounter with our Savior. Now signed to VSR Music Group, Rocker and his band have the vehicle to spread His message to a much wider audience.
In April 2009, Seven Stories Up will release their debut album, Falling. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Bebo Norman, Derek Webb, Angels & Airwaves, Chris Tomlin and Dashboard Confessional, the album successfully blends rock and ministry into an exciting and energetic devotion to the Gospel.
“It’s not about us, it’s not really even about the music”, says Rocker. “It’s about the fact that we, as a band, have been given a message of hope and restoration! We are placing Christ at the helm of this and following where He leads; He is our compass.”
Eager to share their music with the masses, Seven Stories Up will release their first single, “My King”, followed by a radio promotional tour. In conjunction with the tour, the band will also spend 3 days in Evart, Michigan at one of many Spring Hill Camp’s “Winter Teen Retreats” with the incredible task of leading 1,500 students into a love encounter with their Savior.
Fans of Leeland, David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin, Building 429 and Fee are certain to find inspiration in Seven Stories Up.
