For her, I love her and care for her, but I guess she's already in love...

I know I can’t be your man,
I can’t be the guy you’ve dreamed,
But let me at least show you who I can be.
I can be your friend,
Your support,
Your guy you can turn to for a good joke,
But most of all,
Your tissue when you cry,
And your pillow when you rest.
I can be whatever you want me to be,
But still,
I’m me.
Now split by my choices,
Where to go?
I’ve walked this lonely path my whole life,
I know but,
Then again I don’t.
And I want to be with you,
But since I know it’s not fair,
I understand that to Love is to let go,
I care.
And I don’t want to hurt you
Or make you feel guilty at all,
It is my fault,
My wrong.
I never expected to ever fall in Love again,
And especially not with such a great friend.
But the feelings turned around,
Rekindled back to me,
It was all so sudden,
But yet all so sweet.
And like you said,
“feelings are not legit”
I stand by you on that one,
Cause my feelings are being pieced together,
Bit by bit.
And my senses have been shattered,
Knowing that it’ll never be,
It may though,
Maybe.
I wish I told you sooner,
Cause now I’m crying,
And it’s not the pain that’s making me die,
It’s my heart telling me to wait just a little longer.
I’m not that patient,
True Love takes time...

And are you the one?
Cause it feels like it.
I wish, we’ll always be friends,
I never said I ever regretted meeting you,
It was heaven,
So clear together,
As our friendship grows,
The True Love I have,
Will continue also.

I Truly Love You,
Though we may never be together.
Our Friendship...
