Shane Gregory is an artist who believes that the future of music is going back to where it once was. Live music, real instruments, and break beats that echo the vintage sound of early 90's hip hop.
While he is virtually unknown to most, those who do know this artist and who have worked with him know that it is just a matter of time before his music touches the masses. One fan describes it saying, "It's like everything I've heard before, but I can't say I've heard music like this. It is completely original and brave." Along with producing, writing, and performing his own music, he also produces his own music videos.
His first group, The Linx, an alternative hip-hop trio, from Miami might have been the biggest group in music today. They were sought after by a handful of music industry's largest labels and almost signed to J records before unexpected circumstances with members in the group prevented the deal going all the way. Several of their tracks, "Natural," "Fast Song for a Slow Car," and "One Piece," were picked up for TV and DVD deals.
Shane Gregory has been working on a new album for almost three years now and it is near completion. The album now titled, Constructive Interference, is in the end phase of recording. It will be released by this Fall.
