AFTER 37 YEARS IN THE DESERT, THE SNOW SPORTS INDUSTRY BIDS FAREWELL TO VEGAS
After bringing the entire snow sports industry together under one roof for 37 years, The SIA SnowSports Trade Show celebrated it’s final year in the desert. Over 18,000 of the industry’s buyers, sellers, brands and exhibitors gathered at the .09 Show to celebrate the business of snow. With appearances by Perry Farell, Snoop Dogg and Gene Simmons, the industry said goodbye to Vegas in style.
Next year, January 28th-31st, the industry’s largest trade show heads home to the mountains at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. In 2010, the most important days on the snow sports calendar will be bigger and better than ever, complete with the first all-industry, on-snow festival/demo February 1st and 2nd at Winter Park and Devil’s Thumb Ranch.
