Formed sometime in October of 2004, SIDHI is a collaboration of four talented remnants. Fronted by Mikki–lead vocals, giving a sweeping voice in choruses and reggae’s melody together with Paul on guitars, elaborating more tones for heavy funk metal guitars and artistic direction as Guillen-bass, gives a shaping sound and groove as he express his to the long hum slap of his psychedelic influences and as the backbone of SIDHI, Joel-drums, adding so much poise and leaving a mark to its endurable sound.
Fueled with love for music as the band expands their diversity of sound from old school to contemporary towards their original songs into the new generation of music. Combining of all genres from heavy rock, classic, reggae, alternative, and funk and to a new sound of different elements of music.
SIDHI has a touch hard rocking riffs and melody that gives a touch of drama to its songs. Each member has it’s own style and influences. It gives a different flavor to the SIDHI music.
A band that wants to inspire people through good music and song writing by making a difference in the music industry and putting everything in good perspective ways. Definitely giving the face of rock music a new shaping to modernization through their inspirational songs.
When it comes to song writing, the band comes up with different melodies and words, which inspired by their life experiences and reality itself. For SIDHI, the band utilizes its member’s versatility, instruments and talent to ensure a thick new original sound.
The music industry is a tough to break into. Soon, SIDHI would want to break into the music scene with their raw talent, inspirational lyrics and melodic sound. If not, at least, dent the music industry and leave a lasting mark to be remembered for their hard work in song writing and perseverance - SIDHI will definitely break barriers in the unknown world of what’s become of the music industry in the Philippines.
