If you were lucky enough to catch the last episode of the “Ambience” show on the Connecticut radio station, WWUH 91.3 FM you would have heard large slabs of albums by Slow Dancing Society, Sankt Otten, Wes Willenbring and Colour Kane. How’s this for a triple treat - reviews of three HSR releases in the latest edition of the Ambient Music Guide. The Slow Dancing Society album “The Sound of Lights When Dim“, The Sankt Otten album “Wir Koennen Ja Freunde Bleiben” and Wes Willenbring’s “Somewhere Someone Else” were all met with a wonderful reception from the excellent ambient and downtempo zine. The latest edition of the ever excellent Textura online magazine features a Hidden Shoal Recordings Label profile as well as reviews of albums by Wes Willenbring, Sankt Otten and Slow Dancing Society.
Other goodness to be found in the April issue include a feature on the
wonderful Dynamophone label, reviews for albums by Stars of the Lid,
Explosions in the Sky, Do Make Say Think as well as some deliciously
free mp3’s to feed your ears with. 


The spotlight is shining once again on the Slow Dancing Society’s “The Sound of Lights When Dim” with the album being featured in The Cosmic Lounge
radio show’s April 2nd edition. For those of who you haven’t yet
checked out this excellent ambient and downtempo show then you’re in

The Slow Dancing Society album, “The Sound of Lights When Dim” has been receiving lots of attention but none more inspired than this review at the excellent indie music zine Boring Machines Disturb Sleep. Read the review here
