Every night this week Skye has asked me to play the Chemical Brothers album 'Push The Button', she even started screaming when I left the room and hadn't started it playing. It started when we were driving home from a friends house and I played the album, and despite being so tired she should have just passed out she showed off her b-boy moves while strapped into her car seat, cheering along to every call of 'Don't Hold Back'

Some things you can never get on video, even if we had the camera ready it would have been too dark, just like Sunday night where she spent half an hour in the back yard in the dark dancing with a flashlight, spinning it around and watching the beam cut through the rain. And of course there are a million fleeting moments where her random learning processes result in flashes of genius, those are things that just never get caught on camera. I'm just waiting for her to say 'Galvanize'

This was my radio show which ran mostly in 2003 on a few college and internet stations, 28x2 hour episodes covering club music, but staying away from Jungle (because it was a sister show to Junglezone) and Hip-Hop (because it's easy to hear that on mainstream radio).
I've put them all in order in a single playlist is you've got the energy to listen for more than a day, while I'm not so proud of the early shows where I hadn't found my voice the later episodes really stand up well IMHO. Episodes 22 and 26 are probably my favourites - The mixes were mostly recorded live with the voiceovers being recorded in my studio after the fact.

Anyway check it out, and if you find yourself giggling at the lame voiceovers skip forwards a couple of episodes and they improve.

Amy and I tried to come up with a list of words that Skye uses, it feels like something of an ongoig task right now, I'm sure I'll add more during the day as I think of things she's said. Right now it's almost at 100, so I'm guessing that she's already passed that milestone and I'm just forgetting a few words. There are plenty of words that she understands but never uses, and a few made up words which have a special meaning for her.
