She tries to keep her birthdate something of a secret which may be why radio 1 isn't celbrating their longest running DJ turning 65 today. Now most people this age retire and spend some time relaxing in the garden or something, Annie instead is releasing her addition the the "Y4K" dj mix series - following on from breakbeat superstars like Freq Nasty, Tayo, Hyper, Soul Of Man, Hybrid.... the list goes on.

Now I'm hardly an unbiased judge of my own daughter, but, I can't help but be impressed with some of her escapades recently -

She now sings the whole of the ABC song, without any prompting from myself or Amy she's worked all her way through the alphabet. She's also realised that the melody is the same as 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' and will happily make her own mashup along the lines of 'A, Bee, Cee, Dee ,EE, eff, gee, how i wonder what you are'

Myself and Amy have successfully turned on the self censorship just in time, every time she drops something or makes a mistake she'll say 'shoot' - whew another bullet dodged.

Today while trying to fix something I remarked aloud that I'd manged to screw it up, at which point Skye went to the toolbox, unlatched it and selected a screwdriver for me, there aren't many things she can't open these days so we have to be careful what we leave within her reach.

Orion on the other hand is in the process of getting his top teeth and has maybe taken a couple of steps on his own before deciding that crawling is more his style.
