Terrible lyrics? It tells a story. At least what I get from it is that this is her journey from a little innocent girl to teen blastin her stereo like we all do at that age. And next thing you know she had her baby young propelling her into womanhood. She couldn't be a victim. She had a kid to raise. Dreams to accomplish. People can criticize her decisions all day long but she's not gonna stop just because she's a single mother or any other struggles she may face.

the only thing i have to say is proper credit should be given to boards of canada, and they have many more tracks like this to put you in a chill state whenever
