SOULQUENCH - Is a collection of the most voluptuously beautiful, passionate, breathtaking, exquisite, sensual, delicious, refreshing music. Mostly non-mainstream, some quite rare, or overlooked (I know this makes my playlist unpopular compared to others but how about not following the crowd all the time? You might find some treasures ;-) ).
What makes these tunes special is that they awaken something within... a secret longing?...
They are also, for the most part, aesthetically pleasing, soothing, timeless.. Powerful and intense without being harsh or abrasive... ...some of them are so beautiful they have the power to make one cry...
All are highly melodious.
I believe they have a wide appeal (due to my experiments on others, hehe). I've been collecting them for over a decade and always come back to them to find myself and rejuvenate. This music is the only drug I've taken... it has the power to heal.
Not all the beautiful tunes are on this playlist, as I "filter" the music. Some songs I love didn't make the list... They have to have a certain "quality", a "clarity"... A feeling akin to standing in the eye of a storm, where beauty pierces the soul while electricity permeates the fibre of one's being.
I know all of them are of lossy audio quality here on Imeem, but this is the only way I can share them.
