Stephanie Briggs wants to rock your ass off , then sing you a lullaby when you get back home from your ass-replacement surgery. Claiming influences from Chicago, The Beatles, Beck, Sarah Harmer, and Fiona Apple, Stephanie’s music is both did-she-just-say-that off-beat and unapologetically emotional. Stephanie was born and raised in south texas, and was immersed in classical music till she graduated from high school. Using her hard-earned scholarship money, she bought a guitar and started writing songs. It’s been real ever since. Based out of New Braunfels, TX, she writes constantly, practices heartily, and performs vehemently all over the state of Texas and it’s immediate neighboring states. Her project “Seed” is a one-song-a-week endeavor in which she writes and records a song every week that she offers for free to the public. She heads up a podcast, with her drummer, that keeps a close eye on the emerging DIY indie music scene, as well as updates her tours and experiences.
