Studies In Comfort can be defined as the study of one’s comfort levels and emotions. All art forms are a study in comfort.
Studies In Comfort, a duo which began with Ryan Nyenhuis & Ian Levack, specializing in experimental music and sound manipulation in January 2007, has since become a brand of creative outputs, including: photography, painting, digital art, writing and mixed media.
Believing that music should be free to share and trade, giving the listener the option to support and appreciate the artist freely.
One of the greatest of humankind's inventions has been the creation of music. By being able to share thoughts, feelings, emotions and to evoke that within one another allows us to relate, to tell our stories and create with each other. Music was not created for an industry to turn a profit.

On June 15th 2008 An awful tragedy occurred. Studies In Comfort founding member, Ryan Nyenhuis, passed away.
Ryan and I had a vision, plans, dreams.
I must take those dreams he and I had and run with them and make it reality. Live, create, finish off the albums we had in the works, do it all for him. Make Him proud.
My best friend, I love you.
