WTH! What was he thinking when he made this. This is terrible. I think him making an album was a poor life decision, especially with this song. Get voice lessons or something before you just up and make an album. UGH! Forced Vibrato

He is talking abuot his hypocritical love for this woman. That on the surface (and in his own head) he thought he was the "man" but in realitiy (and in retrospect) he realizes he didn't prioritize her the he should have. He assumed her place. So he is singing the song in a mixture of pride yet depression of what transpired... so the "Im your biggest fan" line slowly transforms from his past arrogance to his current sadness...it really is on another level..

i believe he saying hes her no. 1 fan and he planned to build a life with the chick and he was gonna be the man , pay the bills all that good stuff but..she obviously got tired of everything and decided to leave and now shes gone. ok i tried its kinda confusing but i like oh well
