The Groove Dokta was brought up on the first wave of the underground revolution. He found his first inspiration in producers & DJs like the Lords Of Acid, Digital Orgasm, LA Style, & Josh Wink. In 1996, the Dokta's musical education progressed under the mentorship of long time friends DJ Feisty & Jay the Mover(U.S.C.). By 2000 the scene began to catch up with his-ahead-of-his-time-sound. Since then, his driving, authoritative mixes have been finding outstanding reception amongst the true underground headz. From venues like The Heavens to The Last Supper Club, Medusa(Venom), Trinity, & Fuel, it can be hard for the Dokta to keep up w/the growing demand. Having played along side some of the best in the buisness(George Acosta, D:Fuse, Joey Mazzola, Mike Balance, & Donald Glaude-just to name a few), his sound will compliment any genre.
