Press Here Publicity, Lionsgate, Paul Frank and Arthur Magazine announce two-day party line-up for SXSW

If you were in Austin for SXSW in 2006, chances are, you heard about our party – The Happening – which had one of the festival’s most exciting line-ups. And, if you made it out to the party itself, then you got to experience all the fun first-hand: sets by critically-acclaimed artists like The Magic Numbers and Giant Drag, as well as up-and-coming favorites such as Lavender Diamond, Noisettes and Archie Bronson Outfit. To make it an even more glorious experience there were burgers, free ice cream, a full bar, and a gorgeous lawn on the grounds of the French Legation Museum for lounging, listening, and taking in the sunshine (when it was out).

On the heels of last year’s resounding success, Press Here Publicity is proud to announce our line-up for the party’s second incarnation – simply called The Happening II – which will be taking place over not one but two days during SXSW – THURSDAY MARCH 15th and FRIDAY MARCH 16th on the grounds of the French Legation Museum once again. With our special co-hosts – Arthur, Lionsgate and Paul Frank– plus our sponsors The Orchard, V2 Vodka, Pabst Blue Ribbon, IMEEM and The Ice Cream Man – we’ve confirmed an eclectic and buzz-worthy line-up for 2007’s SXSW attendees.

Starting at noon and ending at 7 pm each day, the bill keeps in line with last year’s tradition of introducing the most exciting new bands to music fans first. The Happening II proudly presents:

On the grounds of The French Legation museum, a short walk from the main drag of 6th street or the music venues on Red River 78702 – between 8th and 9th streets - just one block east of the I-35.
