I am glad that I had the chance to spend some time with my kids, because as an artist it's hard because sometimes you can't be home as much as you would like to. I enjoy having my children come to work with me whenever I can. Case Jr. got to see me perform a lot when he was younger but Syke hasn't had that opportunity too often. I moved to Atlanta a few years ago to be closer to my children and this event was in Atlanta so it provided the perfect opportunity for me to combine work and "daddy time."

My favorite and funniest moment of the day was when Syke and Case Jr. got asked for THEIR autographs. Right now Skye wants to be a singer and a dancer, so I guess that was her first taste of the spotlight. When we got home, she started doing a concert for me. She was singing Jazmine Sullivan; she loves 'Lions, Tigers, and Bears.'

I sat down with MissTheda.com to answer a few questions about the inspiration behind 'CAN'T BELIEVE' and 'ME & YOU' from my new March 24th album, 'THE ROSE EXPERIENCE'

MissTheda.com: You have released two more sneak peaks from your album on your MySpace and Imeem pages "Me & You" and "Can't Believe."

CASE: Yep, I wanted to give fans a taste of what they can find on the album.

MissTheda.com: "Can't Believe" isn't your typical break up song. What was your inspiration for writing this song?

CASE: I was inspired to write the song because of a situation I was in with an ex-girlfriend and things were starting to fall apart, so I was kinda imagining how I would feel at the end of things. It was me just being honest with myself.

MissTheda.com: The song talks about playing "love games." What are some examples of the "love games"?

CASE: Love games to me is lying, cheating etc. You know, just not being straight up with someone.

MissTheda.com: In the song you also are admitting to being wrong and wanting "her" back. What should a man do to, to convince a woman to give him a second chance?

CASE: I think you gotta show that you are genuinely sorry, then take whatever steps need to be taken to correct the problem in the future so that you won't make the same mistake again, and you also got prove to her that you really love her, no matter what it takes.

MissTheda.com: You did a lot of collaboration on this album with everyone from Mario Winans to Teddy Riley. How does collaboration influence your creative process?

CASE: Collaboration allows you to bounce ideas off someone else. They may be strong where you are weak and vice versa. It also gives you some healthy competition that can help the creative process.

MissTheda.com: The song is "Me & You" is definitely familiar R&B but it has a really current feel, how did you achieve that in the studio?

CASE: It was easy. I just took the mood, feel and sensibilities of older music and spun it my way.

MissTheda.com: In previous interviews you've mentioned that on this album fans get to see a different side of you, your alter ego Blaxl Rose (the Black Axl Rose), what about this song is more Blaxl Rose than Case?

CASE: "Me & You" talks about a pretty wild situation, having a woman cheating on her, wanting my cake and eating it too. Just being in that situation is definitely a Blaxl Rose dilemma.

MissTheda.com: Well, what advice would Case offer a Blaxl Rose in this situation? A man in love with his girlfriend but unable to let go of his "side" chick?

CASE: (laughs) Well I'd tell Blaxl he was wildin' out! But really, my only advice to him would be that he needs to make a choice cause I have been there and eventually the choice is gonna be made, whether its made by you or not!

Case takes some time to talk about the most romantic day of the year and the special things he's done for the LOVELY women in his life.

What is the most unique thing you have ever done for a woman to show her you loved her?

CASE: The most unique thing... I remember I had a girlfriend that lived in California. And I was on 106 and Park and it was airing that day, and she was watching. I had taken a flight to LA and came to her friends house while she was watching TV and tapped her on the shoulder. She didn't know they taped it the day before, and that was actually on Valentine's Day.

MissTheda.com: Awww...

CASE: Yeah, and we then went to the hotel and I had a diamond bracelet hidden in the couch and she found that. And then there was a diamond necklace in the bathroom when she went in the bathroom and then the next morning we went to Maui.
