Dear Friends,

I just read in the paper today that the Recording Industry Association of America has filed suit against 3 Bay Area residents who downloaded songs illegally through Napster back in the 90’s. Can you believe this shit? This little bit of news has inspired us to be sure you are free to download any song we post, free of charge. If you visit our myspace page, you’ll see we have changed the settings to allow you to pirate away! I guess it’s not really pirating if we give permission, huh?

We are also still giving away free CDs to those gracious enough to ask! Just send an email to Fran, with your address of course, at fdickinson@scclc.net.

This weekend The Bay Area Indie Music Fest was the place to be! If you had a chance to see The Logan, you got a preview of our upcoming show. We will be playing with The Logan at the Rock It Room on September 6th along with the Turn-Ups and Ghost to Atom. We look forward to seeing you there!

We have also just been added to a bill on Saturday 9/8 at the Uptown in Oakland. Rumor has it that the bill will feature Film School, Built for the Sea, and Audio Out Send, with The PaperSons opening up the night! (For details visit myspace.com/uptownnightclub)
We are honored to be a part of this bill and hope to see our East Bay friends at this show – it’s definitely a must see show!
