The Teeth are a Rock and Roll band from Philadelphia. The Teeth are Aaron, Brian, Jonas and Peter. Aaron and Peter are twin brothers, they punch each other sometimes, insult each other frequently, sometimes get real quiet and glare at each other, but then they make up and they sing harmonies so nicely together. Aaron and Peter are originally from Bethlehem, PA, and so is Brian. Brian is a laid back dude, but he plays guitar like he really means it. He likes James Brown. Jonas is the human embodiment of the truism 'still waters run deep', he plays drums, and anytime he does something it seems as if he considered all of his options and chose his present course based on a system of quantifiable and measurable criteria.
The Teeth are a delicate balance, like an ecosystem. There are occasional storms of discontent, and tornados of rage. Recording is
like El Nino, and Al Gore has expressed grave reservations about the extensive tour plans for this year. The Teeth are part of the roster of bands for the Park the Van Record Label. In 2004 Park the Van released "Carry the Wood", an EP by The Teeth that was recorded in a garage in West Chester, PA. The Teeth have recorded a new full-length album in a Northeast Philadelphia Warehouse, and Park the Van will release this as well. To describe the album I will say this. Take the actual title, "You're My Lover Now", and mix it with the scrapped working title, "DERANGED!!!!!!!", and that pretty much sums up the feeling and sound of the album.
