As a singer/songwriter Travis Kingma emphasizes a very unique sound. His band the tkb, featuring Peter Breithuapt and Sam Weber, recorded an independent album in the summer of 2006 entitled Nightride. Their newest album Motive, released in April 2008, is their best work to date. Together they give a perspective to music which aims at sounding new and limitless. The tkb explores what it really means to approach music with meaning and significance keeping fans coming back for more as their songs inspire a sense of increasing value over time for all who listen. The future is exciting for this group as they continue to create great music.
