makes me sad to think about my home in such ruins. I hope they rebuild the city even though they will never rebuild the memories. It will never be the same as before Katrina and he is speaking the truth when he says he feels like refugee cuz that's how it is most of the time. People just don't understand the severity of how we lost anything and everything. Some of us even lost our minds. I know i was very close to it. Thats why now a days i dont cry if i lose something valuble like a cell phone or a CD or anything like that. I've lost so much more. So many more things that i can't build back up. I miss my city. I love my city, And i wish them the best luck in rebuilding what we o nce called home.

Ive been doing volunteer relief work down in New Orleans for the last 3 months, helpin rebuild and all i can say is that you are all strong people! You have been through soo much, hang in there, this song totally dicribes your situation, may you all be able to go home some day, back 2 NOLA BABAY!

I love this song it made me cry when I first heard it.I am 30 years old I miss my home town.I have to do whats good for my kids everybody keep your head up.we will be back in about 2-3 years.
