Acid House from the Untermain-Projekt
UNTERMAIN has appeared in brass bands, punk thrash and assorted electronic outfits. Earlier projects with the ' Lords of Discipline' and 'Bohemian Nightmare' quartets, featuring Tim Triff on drums and Matt Black on a Strat copy, were received to acclaim. The debut album, 'Notes on Eating Bread', remains an underground punk-thrash classic.
In the late 80s, undermain collaborated with the elektro/psychedelic trio of 'Jungle Junk', with vocalist Cathy Bogatec on bass, Matt Black on the Korg and other assorted crew. Their production of live, raw elektro provided a 'revolutionary perspective' on constructed sound.
Now mixing electronic beats to acid house/deep house/lounge, the current project incorporates drums, synths, sequencers and samplers.
