macross is the original of robotech. The thing is the american company who bought the series and named the series Robotech was really bad edition. Thats why things got complicated including the story itself. They change the story alot from the original w/c is Macross.

Hmm yea there actually is a big difference Robotech was a little to slow and macross was definitely really fast when it came down to action.

i dont think its robotech.. robotech and macross are a lot different frankly.. robotech is a copied and revised version of macross.. the original is the macross.. no offense.. this is the music video of macross zero, which is the beginning of all story of macross.. its like episode 1.. watch its full length movie, im pretty sure you'll be amaze
