* not be a "quitter"
* accept both instruction and correction
* not waste time, energy and talent on
meaningless pursuits
* bend instead of break
*put our whole heart into everything we do.

CONTENTMENT
* be thankful for what we do have
* not complain about what we do not have
* not always ask for "one more"
* value people above things
* want less and give more

BENEVOLENCE
* see the needs of others as quickly as we see our own
* give freely without expecting anything in return
* not hoard things for oneself
* not profit from the misfortune of others
* give more as we get more
