Description
WHAT IS VIDEO GAMES LIVE!?!?!?!

Video Games Live is an immersive concert event featuring music from the biggest video games of all time. Top orchestras and choirs across the world perform along with exclusive video footage and music arrangements, lasers, synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic percussionists, live action and unique interactive segments to create an explosive one-of-a-kind entertainment experience.

Video Games Live is a complete celebration of the fastest growing entertainment market. The festival atmosphere of Video Games Live includes pre and post show events such as costume contests, playable demos, prizes, game designer/composer meet and greets and more.

* Video Games Live combines the energy and special effects of a rock concert, the emotions and power of a live symphony orchestra, and the exciting cutting edge interactive technology of video games all into a live concert event.

* The debut performance on July 6th, 2005 at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra saw over 10,000 audience members take part in the biggest video game concert in history.

* The concert tour will be renewed with a refurbishment of the show on an annual basis. We will grow each market, one concert at a time, partnering with local symphonies and co-marketing the event with established video game, anime, sci-fi, and comic book related conventions and festivals.

the game with the best soundtrack would have to be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. just because the game had such great melodies that could be remembered for ever. The temple of time still has a pretty big affect on me. (now lets hope your supposed to comment the profile...)

I think Call Of Duty 4 and Halo3 have great sound tracks, and don't forget Burn-out paradice.

The reason for these sound tracks is, thers nothing like your favriot music playing while you kicking some ass. Hard metal to up beat techno it all plays with your moods and i love the fact that it changes threw out the game with no second thought on my part.

Video game sound tracks should grab the player, instead of them wotching the screen have the hear it feel it, get scared when they hear a ghost coming behind them with loud music balring, or when your running away from gun fire to heavy metal, or racing some one wtih every beat as your car pumps sound and skill from your body, that is what a great sound track should be. and these game give that.

P.S. Sorry for the typos :)

i would say super smash brothers because of various genres that can be played, mixed together and relate to. We can relate in the sense that the song is interpreted and visualized uniquely through our own mind and so we have our own image. And its just nice to have a theme song to dance to when you finally beat up your older brother in smash.

The best soundtrack ever is definitely either sonic the hedgehog or tetris. I love the tetris beats more than i love metal, ad that's a lot.
