In a time where hip hop has been reduced to ringtones and an artist’s credibility is dreamed up by publicists and executives, Web is the return of honest music. Raw and unapologetic, he blends vivid storytelling and sharp lyricism connecting to his audience bringing them into experience the world as he perceives it.
Penning his first verse at the age of nine over RUN DMC’s classic song Christmas In Hollis, Web began his journey into Hip Hop culture.
Born of American Indian descent, Web redefines the image and sound of the modern day MC. Having gained international acclaim with his first two single releases, 2007’s "Don’t Love Me Like They Should" and Move "The Crowd", he returns in 2009 with the first of four albums, a collaborative project with production team I.D.e.A entitled "God's Favorites".
No stranger to the stage, Web has shared the spotlight with such iconic artists as The Roots, Raekwon, Talib Kweli, Common and Mobb Deep, among others. His ability to win over crowds internationally has enabled him to be known as a force to be reckoned with by his peers and fans alike. Charismatic, energy driven and witty, his live show is something you don’t want to miss.
2009 will be a big year for Web, which will see him releasing his collaborative project, "God’s Favorites", with renowned production team I.D.E.A. followed by Divine Comedy series with albums "Inferno", "Purgatorio" and "Paradiso".
