blog post Summer Tour Showtimes Message
Posted in News on Jun 03, 2008 at 5:41 PM
Hello Shoppers! I’d like to submit a friendly reminder that the Band really does enjoy playing in front of a live audience. This Summer tour, we will be playing our first note at the official show time (check your ticket). It wouldn’t be fair to just spring that on you without mentioning it – so, that’s what this message is for. Our folks will do their best to keep the entrance gates moving quickly (and safely), to help facilitate a timely arrival into the venue by you, the gracious, freaky ticket holders. Bottom line – we’ll all have more time and music to play in.

Thanks for listening (reading),
JB

The Food Drive Lives! This Summer, four stops on the Widespread Panic tour will be accepting food donations for local area food banks; Charlotte, Knoxville, Kansas City, and Red Rocks (Sunday) will have easy to find donation sites near will call at the chosen venues. Some people come hungry for music and reunion, some folks are just plain hungry – now, as much as ever. We're very grateful to Josh Stack, the fearless creator/leader of "Panic Fans For Food" the past nine years, for his continued guidance in this worthy endeavor.

Panic fans prove, once again, that they are some of the most generous people around. Not only did they make Panic Fans for Food one of the most successful grassroots food drive campaigns but they are taking up the cause to help New Orleans get back on her feet by sponsoring a house in the lower 9th ward through Make it Right .

If you would like to be a part of The House That Widespread Panic Fans Built visit Make It Right New Orleans and join the Team.
