A breath of sound
A whisper in the wind.
A lover sighs my name.
A voice in the dark.
In the heat of the night.
I dream, sweet dreams of you.
Even though your so far away.
I can feel you watching over me.
So close I can almost feel your tender touch.
And see the look of love.
And heated desire in your gaze.
I awaken.
The sheets twisted around me
My pillow clutched to my breast,
drenched in sweat.
My heart pounding
Your name a whisper on my lips.
My arms ache to hold you
Your kiss a sweetly fading memory.
As I lay here I visualize you
while you prepare for sleep.
I imagine you in your bed
With your hands behind your head
thinking and dreaming of me.
as I think and dream of you.
Good night, my love.
