So, I went out last night and bought The Sims 3. It was a good investment... at the time... after playing around with it and testing out thingz I can honestly say that the whole time I was playing, I was kinda missing The Sims 2 feel. So, let's begin with the proz and conz of it shall we? Everything is rated 1 - 5 with 1 being the lowest score.

Pros/Conz: Sims 3

Building: 5
- The building is a lot easier to do. In the Sims 2, you were fairly limited to what you could build and how you can, in this new game however if you don't want to build a new room and that the room you built is fine... just too small... there is a new feature that allows you to extend the wall. The paint and everything remains intact. Of course you now have a bigger room and you have to rearrange the furniture but hey...

Skills: 5

- The skills part is slightly tricky because you don't exactly know what your sim needs as skills anymore. This time they tell you what skill your sim is currently working on and how much before they become an expert. It's now based on levels and shows you a detailed explaination if you go to the journal. Your sim can take classes and go to the library or bookstore to learn more about their skill. There are some fairly new skills that'll make you think twice about creating an adult sim. Your sim must learn how to write now... yeah weird I know...

Travel: 3

While it is cool that you can now travel with your sim wherever they go, what they don't tell you is, you can no longer go inside the building with them. The only building you can go inside with them now is their home. Everything else is off limits and your stuck outside doing nothing until they come out.

Create-a-Sim: 4

While they have put in new features so you can create a sim to your liking, it is fairly difficult if you don't have a picture of how you want your sim to look, if you want them to look like a person. It'll take practice because of the many new featurez. However, the skin tonez and body type are really really the highlight of this part. You can shape your sim to your liking and also match your skin tone exactly. The hair can now be highlighted or whatever else you can think of. The clothes can now be edited, color wise of course... it's fairly exciting when you figure out how to do it.

While it is worth going out and trying, I wouldn't advice buying it now unless you really don't care about the "minor" thingz I listed and just want to play it. However, you will not be too impressed with this one. It was almost as if I was playing The Sims with a 3D feel. It wasn't excited. The Sims 2 has a lot more to offer versus The Sims 3 when it comez to going inside building and fully interacting with your sims. I'll be posting more updatez and new featurez as I figure them out.

So, this edition of Wasting Your Time, we're going to talk about Chris Brown and Rihanna and the whole situation just has me...

...speechless...

And most of you who read my blog already know that I'm hardly ever speechless. I mean, I guess more information has to come out before I can really have anything to say. I mean, right now it's a lot of he said/she said and then he hit her... that's not helping any of us right now. I don't wanna believe what happened even now. It's crazy. And then not seeing Chris Brown's doublemint commercial anymore... crazy!!! I was listening to the radio today and you know what I didn't hear that whole hour that never happens... a song by Chris Brown. It's crazy.

I guess I should catch some of you up on the situation if you don't know, *which I don't know how you couldn't know but here goes*, so apparently Chris Brown and Rihanna were driving wherever after the pre-Grammy show and got into a confrontation over a txt mssg that Chris got. *Now, here's where the he said/she said comes in* Rumors were flying that Rihanna was hitting Chris and then he pulled over and beat her up and then left her unconscious... how true is that? I don't know, but that's what's going on right on.

Now, I ask you guys, what do you think about the situation because I know I don't know what to think... but I do hope that they can reconcile and be friends *at most* not in a relationship again. I love Rihanna and I hate to hear that she's hurting right now and she needs to be with someone who won't hurt her like that. Because all of the promises and apologies in the world can't undo what he did to her. But at the same time... you know... I just want both of them to get through this situation and come out of it better. Chris, get help because striking out at people is one thing, but making physical contact is a completely different thing and I don't think your fans are angry as much as they are disappointed in you... and Rihanna, get better and you too get help because just because you can heal physically, emotionally the damage is done and you need to talk to someone about it so you can move forward as well. We're all hoping you get better!

I wish them both good luck.... but what do you all think? Is there a chance at redemption for Chris Brown? Do you think Rihanna should take him back? That's all for Wasting Your Time this week...
