LEONA LEWIS has made history by becoming the first British solo artist ever to score a number one in the U.S. album chart with a debut LP. The former The X Factor winner claimed the top spot in the Billboard 200 album chart by shifting 205,000 copies of her debut album Spirit in its first week of release.
