Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, at first, gave me a very childish impression since I couldn't help but think of Cardcaptors Sakura, back in the days, but it is pretty different and has more emotional, serious themes than Cardcaptors Sakura. The love and strife between Syaoran and Sakura, as well as the others finding their own reasons for staying and fighting. Even if they all have their own reasons for the long journey, their paths are intertwined in fate, like Yuko says "hitsuzen".

Through the episodes, the brave and selfless Syaoran stays confident and un-shaken from his goal, which is to get back all the feathers of Sakura hime, even though there are many things that are going through his mind and it's not just a journey physically, but also the mind for Syaoran and Sakura. I found that through this heroic characteristic of Syaoran, he did fit the position of "hero" and went on to risk his own life for the one he cares most about and ultimately, loves, Sakura.
Both of them journey on, in better hopes to re-find who they really are and what real relationship they shared .... and share.
