This is truly amazing!!! I love the idea of "second order fanac," and this is such a perfect example. You make the viewer who's read the story recall particular moments and the general tone of the story and I'm sure it's nearly as evocative even without the source text (much like the Saturday Dance trailer anticipated and complemented the story).

I love the way the Thoughtcrimes footage fit perfectly and the way you framed it in the moving blueish scenes that simultaneously connect but also alienate the footage to a degree, a move that makes a lot of sense, both in the way Sheppard's clearly emotionally alienated until meeting Rodney and in the way your vid is already mediated as it comments and reflects upon the story.

Sorry to be so rambling...I will have to see it a few more times to wrap my mind around it more fully, but thank you!
