Zshatwa was born into a musically inclined family. Birthed by a mother/Beautiful Songstress and raised in the church where her other family members sang, she was destined to let her love of music become her road to success. Zshatwa had many premature moments in professional music settings. At the tender ages of 5 and 6 she sat in tedious sessions with her mother and soaked up all there was to know about the studio and recording music. After spending countless months with her mother in her studio sessions, her mind was made up that there would be no career venture other than music for this little girl. She was determined to make her dreams come true.
From that moment on Zshatwa ingulfed herself into several performances in school. Her mother encouraged the passion in her daughter by enrolling her in to Bancroft Middle School which was a performing arts school geared toward every talent Zshatwa pocessed. Upon graduating she went straight into one of the most prestigious musical highschools in Southern California, Alexander Hamilton Music Academy. It was at Hamilton that Zshatwa did not only further her training in singing and dancing but got her big break at the school's annual talent show. After her two performances in the show, one singing & one dancing, she was approached backstage personally by R&B sensation Mario and Third Street Music Group label owner ,Troy Patterson. She was signed months after the encounter. It was then that her life took a immediate turn. Since then she has performed at some of LA's hottest spots, and has her respected mix tape, "Diary Of A Skater Chick", under her belt. Zshatwa is currently passionately recording her first album with many of the industry's heavy hitters: MAAD PHUNK! (Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, MC.Lyte)
The Beat Detectives (Brandy, Ne-Yo, Fantasia) Corn Austin (O.N.E, Jo jo & Kci just to name a few. With the new release of her first single entitled "FRESH" written by Andre Merrit (Rhianna, Chris Brown, Omarion) and produced by Co-P (Bow Wow, Young Joc, Omarion) this young, "fresh", and new artist is bringing an energy that the world can not ignore. Zshatwa is definetly what the industry is missing and she can't wait til the EVERYONE knows what the Lord has put her here for, stay tuned because she's definetly going to leave her mark on the world as the greats before her have done!

I love music so several people inspire me. My number one inspiration is my mother who sings so beautifully and who's just a beautiful person. I love listening to Aaliyah, Brandy,Faith Evans,Musiq,Chaka Khan, Destiny's Child,Snoop, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill,Usher,Tweet, etc, (dope!). I could go on and on but all and all I just love good music and creative sounds and styles of music, PEri0d!!!
